B. Pahl Transitional Living Center, a ministry under Liberty
Highway Christian Center, believes that it is the duty of the
body of Christ to provide a helping hand to believers and
non-believers who are in need. The Transitional Living Center is
about helping those who have been visited by unfortunate
circumstances, get back on their feet in an environment that
ministers to the whole person, body, mind and soul.
We strongly believe that if you
give a person a fish you feed him for a day, but if you teach
him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. It is on the basis
of this belief that our vision is not fulfilled in just giving a
handout, but a hand up. Our mission is to empower those who the
Lord allows to pass through our doors so that they are better
equipped to deal and manage day-to-day functions that in the
past only brought stress and adversity into their lives.
 Ephesians
4:10-12 teaches us that the job of Christian Leadership is to
bring believers and non-believers into a place of maturity,
teaching them to order and structure their lives in accordance
to the Word and Will of God. This will always bring success in
day to day living. Our mission goes further in encouraging the
one who has been helped and trained to help others who are in
the same situation as they once were. They do this by
encouraging others with their testimony and visual evidence of
the changes in their lives.

It is unfortunate that our school
system does little to prepare our young adults to live in a
world dominated by finance and marketing. Our school system
prepares students to go on for more schooling. At the
Transitional Living Center we seek to train up those
individuals, who have a desire to change their circumstance, to
become self-supporting and valued members of the community in
which they live. Some of the areas we will train are:

Cooking, Sewing etc

Dealing with Landlords
