Corrina B. Pahl was a 26-year-old woman who from June 2004 until her death on August 25, 2004 spent time at the Maranatha Retreat Center. While at the retreat center she learned that your life changes not by what you do for yourself rather by what you do for others. Corrina started to understand the love story the Bible reveals from Genesis to Revelation. She began to understand that, a divine creator created all people for a purpose. Corrina was full of self confidence when she came to the center and she quickly realized that confidence in oneself is useless, confidence in God her creator was the wisdom of succeeding over adversity and controlling the desires of the flesh. Corrina found faith in a power greater than her and sought to walk in that faith. The change in Corrina, during the three months at the retreat center, showed us that our work is needed and peoples’ lives can be changed to become better than they are.
